"People first paid honour to a spot and afterwards gained glory for it. Men did not love Rome because she was great. She was great because they had loved her."

HFA6

Back out in Carlton Landing OK, we are setting up shop to assist and collaborate on the timber frame element of Clay Chapman's chapel project. Last week, Chapman and the rest of the HFA gang were in the process of finishing up the massing of HFA6. Jumping alongside the work in progress we helped complete the gables and chimney of HFA6, which is slated to be Chapman's own house. Quite a rare treat to help a friend build their own dwelling place! Now that the brickwork is done, the scaffolding down, and the site cleaned we are poised to begin timber framing tomorrow.
