Will and I have been collaborating together on a new logo design. I am quite pleased with where we have landed. The concept began with an idea to design something that will readily translate to a metal casting. A brand that is capable of becoming a branding iron. A makers mark. Working with such constraints helps to inform the use of line and arrangement in a believable way.  The logo shapes up nicely as a symbol, a mark, but doesn't flounder in abstraction. 

Our next casting session will include creating forms of the logo in silver and perhaps bronze. The next step for the logo is to get a finalized version scanned and then suitably formatted for digital use.
