"People first paid honour to a spot and afterwards gained glory for it. Men did not love Rome because she was great. She was great because they had loved her."

GK Chesterton
For the love of money...

For the love of money...

Build for the person, not for the profit. Build houses for the farmers, castles for the kings, and cathedrals for God. The pagans built wonders for their gods and their sacred groves. The citizen for his city. The freeman for his king. The Jew, Christian, and Muslim for their God. Now we only build wonders for wealth. Skyscrapers are our wonders...
Build for God. Build for a neighbor, a grove of trees, an ancestor, but not money. What utter dullness to love towers filled with cubicles.
